Solution Provider 500 VIP Club at XChange 2016

The Solution Provider 500 VIP Club brings together Executives from SP500 Companies (Midsize to Enterprise focused) to network with one another, have one-on-one meetings with vendors, and build a sense of community that has come out of the Best of Breed Conference.

The Solution Provider 500 program is designed for senior leaders inside the world’s largest strategic service providers. The challenges facing these managers are of a different nature than the mainstream solution provider because of the size and complexity of their organizations. These executives are looking for peer and expert advice around managing large teams; building practices around industries and strategic vendors and finding new avenues of growth.

We would like to invite our SP500 Company executives to join us beginning on Sunday night, August 21st at the Welcome Reception and Monday, August 22nd for peer to peer networking, strategic meetings and special XChange content sessions moderated by David Russell of MANAGEtoWIN and Tom Cuthbert of Vistage International.

Your travel, accommodation, and meals will be provided.

C-Level Insight For Solution Provider 500 Companies: Creating And Maintaining A Great Culture
Monday, August 22nd | 9:45 am - 10:45 am

This session is designed exclusively for leaders of today’s largest IT integrators who are members of the SP 500. Vistage Chairman Tom Cuthbert and MANAGEtoWIN founder David Russell will lead SP 500 executives through a group exercise focused on the strategies and building blocks to create a great culture. Culture plays such a critical role inside large organizations compared with the entrepreneurial spirit that dominates and sustains many SMB solution providers. This session will address the unique role of culture inside large businesses and how it impacts growth, expansion and employee satisfaction. Cuthbert and Russell will process a live issue to improve company culture.  Participants will share ideas with actionable takeaways that can be implemented immediately. During this session, Cuthbert will utilize Vistage’s powerful and popular process that executives can use in their organizations.

C-Level Insight For Solution Provider 500 Companies: Master The Principles Of Difficult Conversations
Monday, August 22nd | 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

This session is designed exclusively for leaders of today’s largest IT integrators who are members of the SP 500.  There is an old adage that the most important conversation is the one you’re not having. That is because difficult conversations are scary especially when the stakes are high and communication skills are put to the test.  Everyone agrees effective communication is a key to business success.  And yet, many business leaders tend to stop short when communicating, fail to give candid feedback, and avoid critical conversations. Avoid difficult conversations can lead to lower productivity, turnover, missed opportunities and even losing a competitive advantage.

In this 1.5-hour session, executive coach and Vistage Chairman Tom Cuthbert will teach SP 500 executives a proven process to preparing for and managing those difficult conversations.  This model will be demonstrated and practiced together as a group.  Leaders will leave with both a new confidence and determination to have the critical conversations to move their business and life forward.

***Important note: Attendees are asked to prepare for this session by reviewing the following exercise.  Consider a difficult conversation you must have.  What is keeping you from it, or if you have initiated the conversation, what is not going well?  Prepare to share your answers and observations during the session.***

David Russell, CEO, MANAGEtoWIN, is an acknowledged expert in helping business leaders succeed. Through coaching, consulting, speaking and training he shows them how to become better managers and more effective leaders. He is the author of Success With People, a 12-step system he created that shows leaders how to positively impact the lives of all their employees. He knows that better employees lead to increased revenue, productivity, retention rates and growth. David’s goal is to add value to his clients by showing them how to listen, plan and act to engage all employees in the pursuit of company goals and growth.

In 2014, he was recognized with the Vistage Chair Excellence Award. He serves on the board of directors for Christian Unity Ministries, Tech Bloc and the San Antonio Talent for Economic Competitiveness by mayoral appointment. His personal mission is to “Help business leaders see what they can’t, in order to achieve what they can”. Cuthbert was the founder and CEO of Adometry and has served as the chairman of the Click Quality Council and president of Optimal IQ which he co-founded.
