Position Summary:

The Channel Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced paid media professional to join our marketing team as a Digital Paid Media Strategist. This is an execution role with a focus on paid media audience development and campaign management that works cross-functionally across the marketing organization and with our client services teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

You understand client goals and objectives and can translate them into actionable and measurable media strategies and tactical plans which you will then execute on. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting the strategic development of digital paid media campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, content syndication, and other demand generation activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to digital marketing campaign strategy development and provide guidance to internal teams of how to integrate programs.
  • Preparing digital campaigns for launch with accurate conversion tracking and audience targeting/retargeting.
  • Understand the goals and objectives of our clients and how to effectively reach their target audience.
  • Day-to-Day execution and management of paid media and digital marketing campaigns with a focus on performance optimization to yield the highest return on investment.
  • Monitor campaign performance and regularly share performance with leadership, clients and client teams.
  • Executing high-quality programs under tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain strong digital media vendor relationships.


  • 4+ years of digital marketing and media experience in an agency environment managing digital media campaigns including Google Ads, programmatic advertising, and paid social.
  • Hands on experience with Google Tag Manager- creating events and triggers as well as tag management.
  • In-depth experience building and implementing B2B paid media programs, specifically Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook across awareness and demand objectives.
  • First-hand knowledge uncovering relevant insights from data analysis and guiding strategic direction across programs.
  • B2B experience required.
  • Google Tag Manager experience preferred.
  • Adobe Analytics experience preferred.
  • IT channel experience is a plus.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Google Ads Certification preferred.
  • Google Data Studio experience a plus.
