The Channel Company (TCC) is looking for a senior-level executive to lead our fast-growing agency business in the U.S. reporting to our Global Senior Vice President, General Manager, Agency Services. This Agency Services Leader will be responsible for leading our Americas business and working with their counterparts in EMEA and APAC on Global opportunities and best practices. The role will be responsible for TCC’s Agency Services Delivery model focused on client success. They will reinforce a culture centered on a partnering approach, business outcomes, and continuous innovation. They will work closely with our Creative and demand services organization The Channel Company has invested in to provide an in house full-service marketing services capability for our customers. The creative services team supports our Agency model in addition to other lines of business and services our corporate marketing needs.


This Agency Services role has a team of 60+ individuals and carries responsibility for all the people, process, tools, and data required to both drive and measure customer experience excellence within the TCC Agency Services delivery model. This position will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operational processes within our agency services organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and workflows to meet the current and future growth demands of TCC’s Agency Business. The Role will work closely with the Global Agency Leadership team as well as our more than 80-person creative and demand services team to provide management and oversight for U.S. and global clients. They will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams on the GTM model providing an outstanding end to end customer experience. They must demonstrate a commitment to excellence and will be responsible for Client Success by driving the Post sales life cycle through the Land, Onboarding, Deliver, Expand, and Renew phases of our services business.


This leader will be part of the Agency's Senior Leadership team and will collaborate with the senior leadership team to align and drive business strategies that meet the company’s objectives. TCC is committed to delivering an excellent Client and Employee Experience, being the primary drivers of retention and growth. These will be the key measurements for the long term success of our delivery models. Alongside P&L responsibility this role demands proven skills in capacity and utilization planning, best practice adoption based on efficient and repeatable process development. .


The ideal candidate is a strong leader with demonstrated success with marketing and operational expertise, high energy, tenacity, and a deep understanding and curiosity of the Technology industry. This person will bring new ideas, innovation, have a deep passion for the role, and create ways to attain new business. They must have a strong understanding of the technology industry, the IT channel, MDF and co-marketing, cloud marketplaces, and have strong customer and post-sales delivery experience.


This candidate must also have robust experience using processes and tools to manage internal and external resources to ensure successful delivery to our customers. They must have a passion for success and a proven track record of working within a marketing services organization in the channel, agency service in the channel with knowledge of Solution Providers and delivering on customer success in a to-end user, to-partner, thru-partner agency model.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Agency Global leadership team to establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the Agency Services business.
  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Develop and manage our service delivery capacity. Utilize internal agency resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities and practice areas. Set performance and financial goals and attain them through team direction.
  • Seek new business tools and methods. Evaluate the department’s profit and revenue and calculate risks.
  • Guide and support department VPs, directors, and managers.
  • Represent our agency business to senior leadership in our customers, at our events, and within TCC. Being at the forefront of TCC's marketing services innovation across the organization.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Advanced Degree preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of industry-related experience (agency Services in the technology Industry and/or technology channel).
  • Hands-on experience working at a senior management level within a services organization.
  • Experience and proven success leading a large team(s).
  • Demonstrable ability and proven track record in strategy development and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics related to Service Level Agreements, quality assurance models, capacity and utilization models and project-based accounting.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and tools necessary to drive a data-driven delivery model.
